Mrs. Sabiha Azam (Principal) and Mr. Ashar Azam Siddiqui (Chairman) felt the need to spread awareness about education at grass root level. They established Green Lawns High School in 1999 to cater to the educational needs of lower middle class and lower income group. The school started with just 7 students but because of efforts, determination and passion of the founder members, today the strength of school is 250 students from Nursery to class Xth. The school is affiliated to U.P Board and has also obtained minority status by the government. The first batch of High school passed out in 2003 with 100% result. Since then the school has never looked back and is progressing steadily.

Education means building character and instilling morals in the child. We impart value based education. In the morning, assembly prayer is recited either in English, Hindi or Urdu. Famous hymns and songs are sung; to keep children aware of world, a child reads current affairs and thought of the day. Sports and co curricular activities like debate, drama, public speaking, quiz, science exhibition, art and craft exhibition are an integral part of our curriculum. We celebrate Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jyanti with great enthusiasm. In order to promote national integration and harmony we celebrate major festivals of all religions. In our Annual day function we showcase our children’s talent and yearly report of school is read out. Parent – Teacher meeting is held for every class in every term. Many competitions in various fields are held in the school throughout the year. Our children participate in interschool competitions and have won various awards. We have just started the Alumni association. The alumnus share their experiences and achievements with the current students. We had a humble beginning but that one small step has now made a giant leap.
